The Office of Institutional Effectiveness (OIE) provides support for sound management, decision-making, and achievement of our institutional mission through strategic planning, assessment, data collection, analysis, and the interpretation and dissemination of results.

Objectives

  • The OIE promotes achievement of MCON's mission by providing exemplary service to the college, community and constituents on an ongoing basis.
  • The OIE will be adequately equipped to fulfill the needs of MCON by meeting the expectations of and fulfilling the standards established by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), including performing studies on student development. The OIE will also provide support for meeting guidelines and standards for accreditation of MCON's professional nursing degrees and enhance passage rates in the NCLEX examination.
  • The OIE will coordinate and work cooperatively with various units in meeting MCON's internal and external data needs.
  • The OIE will provide timely and accurate data to meet internal and external needs on a regular basis, including support for grant applications.
  • The OIE will perform institutional and policy studies centering on nursing education, the college experience and the educational environment as a whole.
